Muhammad Mokaev's highly anticipated return to BRAVE CF 91 will see him face African star Luthando Biko in a Flyweight showdown
The best undefeated Flyweight in the world, Muhammad Mokaev, has an official opponent for his much-anticipated return at BRAVE CF 91 in Bahrain on December 13. Mokaev will face African superstar Luthando Biko in a Flyweight showdown, marking one of the most awaited fights of the year.
A former multiple-time IMMAF World Champion, Mokaev recently re-signed with BRAVE Combat Federation after becoming the hottest free agent in MMA earlier this year. Undefeated in both his amateur and professional MMA careers, Mokaev began his professional journey with BRAVE CF in 2020, competing five times for the organization before moving elsewhere. After leaving BRAVE CF, he piled up seven more wins and now looks to continue his unbeaten streak as he steps back into the BRAVE CF cage on December 13.
Luthando Biko, one of the top names in African MMA, will make his promotional debut at BRAVE CF when he faces Mokaev. A former Commonwealth Gold Medallist in Judo, Biko is a regional champion in Africa and is riding a four-fight winning streak. Initially scheduled to debut at BRAVE CF 82 in Mauritius, Biko had to withdraw due to injury. Now fully recovered, Biko aims to make a statement, with the opportunity to become the first fighter to defeat Mokaev—a potential career-defining moment for the South African superstar.
The fight carries importance as BRAVE Combat Federation is yet to crown its inaugural Flyweight champion and a win could position either fighter as a top contender for the title.
BRAVE CF 91 will be the eleventh event of the year for BRAVE Combat Federation and will take place as part of BRAVE International Combat Week at the Khalifa Sports City Arena. The event marks BRAVE CF’s return to Bahrain after a record-breaking year, during which the organization hosted events across the globe.
