Two titles on the line, 11 nations represented: BRAVE CF releases full fight card for mega event in Slovenia

BRAVE Combat Federation has announced a blockbuster fight card for BRAVE CF 88 which marks the organization’s return to Slovenia.
Scheduled to happen on September 28 and held in association with WFC, BRAVE CF 88 will be the second event of the year in Slovenia for BRAVE Combat Federation, following BRAVE CF 81 and the event will feature two historic title fights, making it the biggest event European MMA, with also 11 nations represented in total: Bosnia & Herzegovina, Germany, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Slovenia, Italy, Poland, Croatia, Estonia, Serbia, and Brazil.
The main event will see European MMA superstar Erko Jun taking on German knockout artist Alexander Wesner for the vacant Light Heavyweight title. In the co-main event, BRAVE CF will crown its inaugural Heavyweight champion when Pavel Dailidko takes on Azamat Nuftillaev, as previously announced.
Erko Jun earned his shot at the Light Heavyweight title after defeating Mohammed Said Maalem at BRAVE CF 81, while Wesner is currently on a five-fight winning streak and has not lost since 2021. Meanwhile, Pavel Dailidko enters the Heavyweight title fight on a four-fight winning streak in BRAVE CF, with his most recent victory coming against Valdrin Istrefi at BRAVE CF 81. His opponent, Nuftillaev, is on a three-fight winning streak and eager to etch his name into the history books.
Slovenian superstar Monika Ku?ini? will return to action following her impressive win at BRAVE CF 81, as she faces Italy’s Fabiola Pidroni in a Strawweight bout. Similarly, Patryk Dubiela and Domen Drnovsek will also look to continue their success from BRAVE CF 81 as they face Martin Batur and Kristjan Toniste, respectively.
Luka Podkrajšek returns to the BRAVE CF roster after a one-year absence to fight Italian veteran and promotional newcomer Michele Mirabella. Miha Frlic, returning after his fight at BRAVE CF 70 and riding on a two-fight winning streak, takes on Samuele Di Guardo, who is on a three-fight undefeated run.
The opening bout of the card will feature Serbia’s Marina Spasi? taking on Brazilian standout Maristela Alves. After the Strawweights get the action going, an amateur Welterweight contest between undefeated Slovenian Kirill Negru and his fellow countryman Tilen Bregant showcases the best amateur talent that Slovenia has to offer.
BRAVE CF 88 will be the eighth event of the year for BRAVE Combat Federation and the second in Slovenia for 2024. The event follows BRAVE CF 87 in the Netherlands and precedes BRAVE CF 89 in Spain, scheduled for October 19.
