Top Russian prospect Kasum Kasumov returns to action at BRAVE CF 43
One of the finest young fighters out of Russia, Kasum Kasumov is looking to stretch his winning start at BRAVE Combat Federation with another show-stopping performance on his return to action, which will take place at BRAVE CF 43. Set for October 1st, the finale of the Kombat Kingdom series will see Kasumov take on former MMA champion Dimitar Kostov, from Bulgaria in the co-main event.
Kasumov made waves last year at BRAVE CF 29, when he got his 12th professional victory in devastating fashion, dominating Rany Saadeh from Germany en route to a first round Von Flue choke victory, a rare submission, which showcased his excellent ground game. Kasum has more than half of his professional wins coming by way of submission and will look to start his road to a Bantamweight world title with BRAVE CF.
In order to keep on track, though, Kasumov will meet an extremely dangerous adversary in Kostov. Hailing from Bulgaria, Dimitar is more experienced and is riding a two-fight win streak in the European circuit. Almost half of his pro wins have been finishes as he feels confident of ending the hype surrounding Kasumov.
BRAVE CF 43 will be headlined by the return of Arab hero Jarrah Al-Silawi. The BRAVE CF Welterweight world champion will move up to Middleweight to test the waters with his eyes set on a new title run. Al-Silawi faces Melvin van Suijdam, from the Netherlands.
Also set for fight night is another huge return. Muhammad Mokaev, widely recognized as the hottest prospect in the sport, will look for his second BRAVE CF victory against fellow Englishman Jamie Kelly.
