Just a few days after the tremendous success of BRAVE CF 88, the most global MMA organization in the world BRAVE Combat Federation has revealed an exciting fight card for BRAVE CF 89, which marks the organization’s return to Spain.
The event will take place on October 19 at Pabellon Santiago Martin in Tenerife, in partnership with Fight2One, and will be headlined by the Super Welterweight title bout between Champion Kamal Magomedov and Brazilian contender Luiz Cado.
Kamal Magomedov will aim to defend his title for the first time and remain undefeated in his professional MMA career when Luiz Cado, riding a three-fight winning streak in BRAVE CF, will look to make history by claiming the title. Both fighters have been dominant in the organization, and with names like Alex Lohoré and Eliezer Kubanza closely watching, the stakes for the BRAVE CF 89 main event are high.
In the co-main event, Spanish MMA veteran Jose Sanchez will compete on home soil against Irish superstar Richie Smullen, who has finished his last three opponents, and is seeking to make a global impact with BRAVE CF. However, Sanchez, with a decade of MMA experience and the support of the Spanish fans, will pose a tough challenge.
Dutch rising star Daan Duijs will make his BRAVE CF debut on the back of a two-fight winning streak. He will face Abdelmoumen Msaate, who returns to the organization after his bout with Bantamweight champion Nkosi Ndebele at BRAVE CF 48.
Undefeated Dutch prospect, Ilias Bulaid, will look to extend his perfect record as he takes on Swiss veteran Anthony Riggio in a Featherweight contest. Riggio, coming off two consecutive wins, aims to become the first to defeat Bulaid in MMA.
In the Atomweight division, Spanish female MMA star Andrea Meneses Garcia will face Italy's Adriana Fusini. Meanwhile, Anuar Bensayid returns to BRAVE CF after his victory at BRAVE CF 75 to take on newcomer Sino Sabzaliev in the Featherweight division.
Irish standout Gerard Burns, undefeated in BRAVE CF, will move up to Bantamweight to fight Brazilian prospect Santiago Paiva, who is on a three-fight winning streak. Burns, who has finished both his BRAVE CF opponents so far in the first round, will look to continue his momentum in Spain.
The opening fight of the night features a Lightweight clash between Spain’s Oscar Mendez and Romania’s Tony Sipos, with both fighters entering the fight on winning streaks.
BRAVE CF 89 marks BRAVE Combat Federation’s return to Spain after its debut last year with BRAVE CF 75. The event will conclude the organization’s Around The World in 70 Days tour, which included stops in China, Pakistan, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, and Slovenia.
