Title challenger Luiz Cado leading the way for new wave of BRAVE CF’s Brazilian Storm

Brazil's Luiz Cado is preparing for the biggest fight of his MMA career as he faces Kamal Magomedov in the main event of BRAVE CF 89 for the Super Welterweight title. While it is a personal battle for Cado, he also hopes to lead the next generation of Brazilian fighters in the organization.

Since the inception of BRAVE Combat Federation eight years ago, Brazil has been the most successful nation in the organization, producing five World Champions—Klidson de Abreu, Lucas Mineiro, Luan Santiago, Cleiton Silva, and Daniel Pereira. However, Brazil currently has no champion in BRAVE CF, and Cado aims to change that by reclaiming a title for his country and kickstarting the second wave of the Brazilian Storm.

Cado's journey has been difficult, having grown up in poverty and battled addiction before making his BRAVE CF debut at BRAVE CF 60. The organization helped him turn his life around, and he is now on a three-fight winning streak, ready to challenge the top Super Welterweight in the world.

Given his past struggles and his skills inside the cage, Cado is seen as the ideal leader for the next generation of Brazilian fighters in BRAVE CF. Out of the 885 athletes signed by the organization, 98 have been from Brazil, and that number could grow if Cado wins the title.

However, defeating Magomedov will not be easy. The Russian champion has been dominant in BRAVE CF, remaining undefeated and finishing all his opponents; ensuring an exciting fight for the fans.

BRAVE CF 89, held in partnership with Fight2One, will take place on October 19 at Pabellón Santiago Martín in Tenerife, Spain, marking the organization’s ninth event of the year. It also wraps up BRAVE CF’s 70-day world tour which featured stops in China, Pakistan, Bulgaria, the Netherlands and Slovenia.
