Superstar Erko Jun among first fighters confirmed for BRAVE CF’s return to Slovenia
BRAVE Combat Federation has announced the first fighters confirmed for its return to Slovenia, scheduled for September 28 in Ljubljana. The event, held in association with WFC, follows BRAVE CF 81 held in Slovenia earlier this year in April.
The upcoming event will feature top talent from Europe and around the world, with confirmed fighters including Erko Jun, Pavel Dailidko, Monika Kucinic, Haris Aksali?, and Miha Frlic.
Erko Jun, who last competed in the main event of BRAVE CF 81, secured a first-round victory against Mohammed Said Maalem, establishing himself as the top contender for the vacant Light Heavyweight title. Similarly, Pavel Dailidko, competing at Heavyweight, achieved his fourth consecutive finish in the organization and has expressed his ambition to fight for the inaugural BRAVE CF Heavyweight title.
Monika Kucinic and Haris Aksalic, both winners at BRAVE CF 81, are also confirmed for the event. Aksalic stood out with his supercars and supporters during fight week and achieved a first-round victory against Baki Sahin on fight night.
Monika Kucinic, on the other hand, secured a win over Sofiia Bagishvili at the event and re-ignited her rivalry with the best amateur female fighter of all time, Sabrina de Sousa through social media exchanges.
Miha Frlic, a two-time IMMAF medallist and undefeated in his professional MMA career, is set to return to the organization after a short gap. Frlic made his professional debut with BRAVE CF at BRAVE CF 70 and has since secured two wins outside the organization.
The return to Slovenia once again underlines BRAVE Combat Federation’s commitment towards growing the sport in the region and the event will be part of the organization’s 2024 Europe Tour. BRAVE CF is currently the most-hosted MMA organization in Europe with events held in 14 European nations.
