Srikant Sekhar Vows Vengeance Against Rizwan Ali at BRAVE International Combat Week
The much-anticipated India vs. Pakistan rematch between Indian MMA star Srikant Sekhar and Pakistani superstar Rizwan Ali is scheduled to take place at BRAVE CF 92 in Bahrain on December 15. Ahead of the showdown, Srikant has vowed to avenge his previous loss to his Pakistani counterpart.
“All those questions, and we got one answer. Kill,” Srikant wrote on his Instagram page while sharing the official fight poster.
The first encounter between Srikant and Rizwan happened at BRAVE CF 85 in Pakistan earlier this year, where Rizwan secured a third-round knockout victory. Srikant showcased impressive grappling skills and controlled the fight in the first two rounds. However, Rizwan turned the tide in the third round, earning a knockout finish and bringing glory to his country.
The fight garnered attention, with videos of the knockout and post-fight interviews gaining millions of views online. Rizwan’s victory maintained his undefeated professional MMA record, while the bout marked Srikant’s second consecutive fight without a win.
Following the loss, Srikant expressed interest in a rematch, and now he has the chance to avenge his loss when he steps back into the cage in Bahrain on December 15.
Held as part of the BRAVE International Combat Week, BRAVE CF 92 follows BRAVE CF 91 on December 13 and boasts a stacked fight card. The event will be headlined by a Middleweight clash between Arab MMA legend Mohammad Fakhreddine and Algerian superstar Abdel Rahmane Driai and will also feature exclusive India vs. Pakistan matchups.
