Ever since its inception in 2016, BRAVE Combat Federation has been dedicated to the inclusive development of MMA worldwide. The organization has visited a record 35 nations and worked to create sustainable MMA ecosystems in each.
One of the most notable success stories of BRAVE CF’s vision is Slovenia, a success showcased at BRAVE CF 88, which crowned two new world champions and became the biggest MMA event in European history. While BRAVE CF 88’s success highlights the organization’s impact in Europe, it also showcases how BRAVE CF, in partnership with WFC and the Slovenian National Federation, has elevated MMA to a national sport in Slovenia.
BRAVE CF debuted in Slovenia four years ago with BRAVE CF 34, and since then, MMA in the country has evolved significantly. The four events held in Slovenia have set new standards for MMA in Europe, engaging local media, government bodies, and private companies, while selling out multiple shows.
BRAVE CF 88 marked a record-breaking event in Slovenian MMA, both in attendance and broadcast reach, establishing Slovenia as a key hub for MMA growth in Europe. BRAVE CF’s vision has already created successful MMA ecosystems in countries like Bahrain and Serbia, and Slovenia now joins their ranks as a prime example of BRAVE CF’s strategy for MMA development.
Following the success of BRAVE CF 88, the organization will head to Spain for BRAVE CF 89, continuing its broader commitment to MMA growth in Europe.
