Sambo world champion Ikram Aliskerov's return rounds up stellar BRAVE CF 41 fight card
Sep 06, 2020
Two Russian powerhouses will clash in the Middleweight division when Ikram Aliskerov steps into the BRAVE CF cage for the eighth time to welcome his fellow countryman Denis Tiuliulin to the truly global MMA promotion. The bout will round up the fight card for BRAVE CF 41, the first of three events hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the Kombat Kingdom series.
A world champion in sambo, Aliskerov is always a name in the title picture for the 185-pound division. For this reason it is safe to say that the KHK MMA athlete will compete with an eye on the main event of the evening between the champion Daniel Gaucho and the challenger Mohammad Fakhreddine. He currently owns the record for most divisional wins with five of his six BRAVE CF victories coming at Middleweight.
On the other hand, Denis Tiuliulin looks forward to nothing but leaving a great first impression and the Moscow-based fighter knows that a win against Ikram Aliskerov is all he needs to be on the radar at 185-pounds.
The fight card is headlined by the Gaucho vs Fakhreddine title fight and will also host the rematch for one of BRAVE CF's best-ever fights as former world champions Luan "˜'Miau'' Santiago and Lucas "˜'Mineiro'' Martins collide for the second time. Lucas won the first fight and Luan will seek revenge.
BRAVE CF 41 will feature the much-anticipated returns of Lightweights Felipe Silva and Sam Patterson, as well as Cian Cowley moving up to Super Lightweight (165 pounds) to face off against Ahmed Amir.
