Russian powerhouse Aigun Akhmedov to return to action, signs with BRAVE CF

After a long absence from mixed martial arts, Russian powerhouse Aigun Akhmedov is finally back to competition and the K-Dojo star has signed with BRAVE Combat Federation to resume his professional career.
In only five years, between 2012 and 2017, Akhmedov had a very dominant run, defeating several relevant names in the sport, such as Hernani Perpetuo and Tofiq Musayev, and building a record of 20 wins and only 2 losses.
For the last four years, though, Achilles, as he’s also known as, has been away from action. After turning 33 in March, he decided it was time to pick things up where he left off and go after his 21st professional win.
To do so, Akhmedov stepped up the challenge and signed with the truly global MMA promotion, BRAVE Combat Federation, where he will put his skills to test at the international level after completely dominating the competition in the national and regional circuits.
He will return to an already stacked Super Welterweight division, containing the likes of world champion Jarrah Al-Silawi, Uzbek superstar Nursulton Ruziboev, former champ Abdoul Abdouraguimov, former title challenger Ismail Naurdiev, among others.
It is yet to be confirmed when Aigun Akhmedov is making his promotional debut for BRAVE Combat Federation but, judging by the level of anticipation for his comeback, it’s safe to assume that it’ll be sooner rather than later.
