Rasul Magomedov will be looking to remain undefeated when he steps into the cage at BRAVE CF 90 in Austria
Rasul Magomedov has quickly made a name for himself in MMA after transitioning from wrestling a few years ago. Now, the undefeated Bahraini superstar is preparing to take his MMA career to the next level as he fights in the co-main event of BRAVE CF 90, scheduled for November 23 at the Multiverse Schwechat in Vienna.
Magomedov will face Polish submission artist Lukasz Olech in a high-stakes Light Heavyweight clash at the event. The Bahraini star currently holds an impressive MMA record, having finished all six of his professional MMA opponents with his latest victory coming at BRAVE CF 87 in the Netherlands, where he stopped Brazilian veteran Pablo Benaion in the first round.
The dominant performance continued the trend established during his amateur career, where he became a multiple-time IMMAF World Champion. Before transitioning to MMA, Magomedov was a Combat Sambo World Champion and achieved a historic wrestling victory over the legendary Kyle Snyder; making him the best wrestler in MMA today.
While Magomedov's amateur success came at Heavyweight, his professional dominance has been at Light Heavyweight. With Erko Jun recently winning the division's title at BRAVE CF 88, the upcoming fight will offer Magomedov an opportunity to position himself as the top contender in the division.
However, getting the win at BRAVE CF 90 will not be easy. Lukasz Olech is a proven grappler and enters the bout on a three-fight winning streak making it a tough fight for Magomedov.
BRAVE CF 90 will mark the debut in Austria for BRAVE CF and will be headlined by a Super Welterweight clash between undefeated Austrian Muslim Danaev and Dutch superstar Chequina Noso Pedro.
