Daniel "Gaucho", the first-ever BRAVE Combat Federation Middleweight world champion, is set to be a busy man as soon as the fastest-growing organization in the world resumes its activities. The Brazilian powerhouse, who has made a name for himself on the international stage due to its raw power and knocked out his two BRAVE CF foes, has been challenged by the cream of the crop at 84 kg.

Joining the likes of Ikram Aliskerov, Chad Hanekom, and Mohammad Fakhreddine is American wrestler Phil Hawes. "Philzilla" has taken the Middleweight division by storm since joining BRAVE CF in late 2019, submitting Dominik Schober in his promotional debut in Hyderabad, India, and then knocking out Yuri Fraga at BRAVE CF 34 in Slovenia.

Speaking to "The Roaring Lion" Carlos Kremer during a Live Chat at BRAVE Combat Federation's Instagram page, Phil guaranteed he was ready to take on "Gaucho" and also ready to become BRAVE CF's second Middleweight world champion.

"I'm ready to take him on and I win this fight", said Phil, who claimed he would beat Daniel "any way he wanted" when pressed by Kremer on how he would win the fight.

Phil Hawes has made a name for himself in the wrestling circuit before taking on mixed martial arts and has amassed a 7-2 record, helped by his two BRAVE CF wins. He feels his wrestling pedigree gives him an edge over striker "Gaucho" and is looking forward to jumping the line and get a title shot as soon as BRAVE CF resumes its activities - currently on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Hawes has ambitious plans in his new home as he revealed to Carlos Kremer, the voice of BRAVE Combat Federation, he wishes to win the Middleweight title and then drop down to Welterweight to face off against whoever the champion is - current titleholder Jarrah Al-Selawe will defend his crown against undefeated top prospect Khamzat Chimaev.
