Abbas Khan came into BRAVE CF 71 determined to prove BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid right, after Shahid said he was the biggest fighter from Pakistan. And prove Shahid right he did by shutting out Omar Hussein with a dogged performance that showcased a maturity beyond his years.
With only five pro fights to his name prior to last Monday, Khan relied on the traits that made him Pakistan’s number one fighter according to Shahid: his amateur experience and the fact that he competed in multiple sports; his physicality and cardio; and his world-class training partners, which helped guide him to yet another successful BRAVE CF outing.
That recipe meant his performance didn’t go unnoticed and, now at 5-1, he will have bigger fish to fry in the BRAVE Combat Federation ever-growing Super Lightweight division. But his story so far wasn’t without its problems.
