Olli Santalhati's arrival at BRAVE Combat Federation made waves in the truly global MMA promotion, with a decision victory over Georges Eid in a three-round war. Of course, with such an impressive performance, Santalhati got himself a target on his back, and the Finnish Super Welterweight is well aware of that.
“Everybody wants to knock me out but I’m here to prove them wrong”, he said. “I try to improve my striking and standup game and my takedown so I could take the guys to my world, which is grappling. But, honestly, I don’t mind trading punches”.
Asked about what he’s planning to do against Ismail Naurdiev in his upcoming bout at BRAVE CF 54, in Poland, Santalhati was assertive. “I realized that I am the best version of myself in a fight when I do the things I like to do and it’s my opponent’s job to prevent me from doing what I like to do”, he stated.
Santalhati and Naurdiev will face each other on September 25, in Konin, Poland, at BRAVE CF 54. The event, promoted in association with Galana Exclusive Championship, will be headlined by the Lightweight world title bout between reigning champion Amin Ayoub and the challenger Ahmed Amir.
