Noso Pedro: Footballer Turned Fighter and Now with an Eye on the BRAVE CF World Title

Chequina Noso Pedro will be aiming to remain undefeated in BRAVE CF when he fights in the main event of BRAVE CF 90

Chequina Noso Pedro will return to the BRAVE CF cage at BRAVE CF 90 in Austria, headlining the historic event against Muslim Danaev. The Dutch superstar enters the bout with two wins in BRAVE CF and another impressive victory could elevate him to a title contender status in the stacked Super Welterweight division. However, his journey to the point has been anything but easy.

Born in Angola, Pedro and his family relocated to the Netherlands when he was four years old, fleeing the civil war. Growing up, Pedro wanted to become a professional footballer and pursued the dream until he realized that Football outcomes depended on team performance rather than individual effort. Frustrated, he decided to try MMA and immediately fell in love with the sport during his first session.

One thing led to another and Pedro made his amateur MMA debut in 2018, securing a first-round finish. He turned professional in 2020 and went on an impressive five-fight winning streak, including stoppage victories over Selim Topuz and Marko Kisi?—teammates and friends of his upcoming opponent, Muslim Danaev.

A pivotal moment in Pedro's career came at BRAVE CF 79, where he defeated Dzhokhar Duraev, announcing his arrival on the global MMA stage. He followed this with another strong performance at BRAVE CF 83, cementing his status as a rising star in the Super Welterweight division.

Now, Pedro prepares to headline Austria's biggest MMA event. A third consecutive win in BRAVE CF would not only maintain his undefeated streak in the organization but also position him as a top contender for the Super Welterweight title.

BRAVE CF 90 will take place on November 23 at the Multiverse Schwechat in Vienna, in association with Sparta CF. The event marks BRAVE Combat Federation’s debut in Austria, making it the 35th host nation globally and the 16th in Europe—both world records.
