BRAVE Combat Federation is set to make history on Friday, November 7, as No. 1-ranked contender Muhammad “The Punisher” Mokaev collides with Irish rising star Gerard “The Animal” Burns for the inaugural BRAVE CF Flyweight World Championship.

The highly anticipated showdown will be one of the feature attractions at BRAVE 100, emanating live from Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, Bahrain — a landmark event that promises to raise the bar for the global promotion.

Mokaev has established himself as one of the premier flyweights on the planet, boasting an immaculate 15-0 record highlighted by seven submission victories and two knockouts.

The Dagestan-born Englishman first captured attention with a dominant amateur run, claiming back-to-back IMMAF World Championship triumphs in 2019 and 2020 before transitioning seamlessly to the professional stage.

His initial BRAVE CF stint was marked by four impressive wins in five outings, putting the entire flyweight roster on notice.

After extending his unbeaten streak outside the organization, Mokaev returned to BRAVE CF in December 2024, submitting Filipino opponent Joevincent So in the opening round via a wrenching D’Arce choke.

Now, the undefeated phenom seeks to etch his name in the record books by becoming BRAVE CF’s first-ever flyweight king.

“This is the golden opportunity I’ve been waiting for. I’ve fought my way through every challenge, and on November 7, I will etch my name in history as the first BRAVE CF Flyweight World Champion,” Mokaev said.

However, Burns aims to spoil those plans.

“The Animal” has quickly become one of BRAVE CF’s most exciting prospects since debuting in 2023, opening his campaign with back-to-back first-round finishes.

Burns added two more victories to his résumé, including a unanimous decision triumph over Alinson “El Chompiras” Ochoa at BRAVE CF 97 this past July, which cemented his spot as one of the two frontrunners for gold at 125 pounds.

With a 58-percent finishing rate, Burns carries both power and determination into the World Championship contest.

For Burns, the bout represents not only personal glory but national pride.

“Ireland has been waiting for this moment. I’m coming to Bahrain to bring that World Title home. November 7 will be the night I prove that the Irish spirit cannot be denied,” Burns declared.

With Mokaev’s spotless record and Burns’ fearless ascent, BRAVE 100 will crown its first-ever flyweight monarch in a clash that embodies the promotion’s mission to showcase world-class talent from across the globe.
