The Best Flyweight in history Demetrious Johnson has endorsed Muhammad Mokaev
The Best Undefeated Flyweight in the world, Muhammad Mokaev, is set to make his return to the BRAVE Combat Federation cage as he takes on Luthando Biko at BRAVE CF 91 on December 13. Ahead of his much-anticipated return, Mokaev took some time to respond to MMA legend Demetrious Johnson, who recently endorsed him as one of the best Flyweight fighters in the world.
Demetrious Johnson, a former multiple-time MMA world champion and widely regarded as one of the greatest Flyweights in history, recently announced his retirement from MMA. In a video shared by Mokaev, Johnson praised Mokaev’s potential and highlighted his world-class striking, wrestling, and fight IQ. Mokaev reposted the video on his timeline with the caption, “Legend himself knows.”
Currently undefeated in his professional MMA career with a record of 13 wins and no losses, Mokaev began his professional journey with BRAVE Combat Federation in 2020, competing five times in the organization before moving elsewhere. Since leaving BRAVE CF, he has secured seven more wins and recently re-signed with the most global MMA organization in the world.
Before turning professional, Mokaev was a multiple-time IMMAF World Champion at the amateur level, where he remained undefeated throughout his amateur career. He was spotted early in his career by His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who recognized his immense potential and invited him to join the KHK MMA Team in Bahrain.
Now back with the organization where his professional journey began, Mokaev aims to extend his undefeated streak when he faces African superstar Luthando Biko at BRAVE CF 91 on December 13. A former Commonwealth Games medallist in Judo, Biko is one of Africa’s top Flyweights and enters the bout riding a four-fight winning streak.
The event will take place at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town as part of the BRAVE International Combat Week which also features BRAVE CF 92 and the IMMAF Youth Asian Championships.
