Middleweight champ Fakhreddine calls out Said Maalem for BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight title fight
Mohammed Fakhreddine captured the Middleweight world title back in September, when he beat Brazil’s Daniel Gaucho via TKO at BRAVE CF 41 main event, but “The Latest” is already planning to go for a second world title.
Fakhreddine used his Instagram profile to challenge Mohamed Said Maleem, who convincingly won at last week’s BRAVE CF 45 co-main event, for a Light Heavyweight title fight.
“Who wants to see me fight soon for the Light Heavyweight belt? BRAVE CF, Mohamed Shahid, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, let me fight Mohamad Said Maleem, I’m ready to become the first double champion in BRAVE CF history”, the Lebanese superstar wrote.
Fakhreddine’s challenge comes right after Mohamed Said Maleem revealed he had different plans for the near future. Right after beating Zvonimir Kralj, Maleem was called out by his first BRAVE CF opponent, Todd Stoute.
Maleem suggested that Stoute should take on Anton Turkalj and, only then, the winner would face him for the Light Heavyweight vacant world title. Can a champion’s word change his mind and set a new course to the 93kg division?
Mohammed Fakhreddine holds a professional record of 14 wins and only four losses and is arguably one of the best Middle Eastnern fighters ever to grace the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
Mohamed Said Maleem is 11-3 as a professional Mixed Martial Artist. “L’ambiance”, as he’s also known as, is currently on a six-win streak, including two consecutive victories under the BRAVE CF’s banner.
