Kubanza out of BRAVE CF 31, Raynard to replace him against Boloyoang
A short-notice replacement has been found for BRAVE CF 31's first bout of the evening. Eliezer Kubanza was forced to pull out of his BRAVE Combat Federation debut due to undisclosed reasons and will be replaced by Matt Raynard, who makes his professional debut after a stellar amateur career when he takes on British Boloyoang on December 7th, at the Sibaya Casino, in Durban, South Africa.
A top Welterweight from South Africa, Boloyoang makes his much-anticipated debut in the international scene after amassing a 5-1 professional record. Four out of his five victories have come by stoppage and he will look to bounce back from his lone loss against one of South Africa's brightest prospects.
Even though Raynard is a short-notice replacement making his professional debut, he comes in with the experience of a perfect amateur career, with eight wins in as many bouts and having the MFC amateur title under his belt.
BRAVE CF 31 marks the return of the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world to the continent of Africa. BRAVE Combat Federation remains the sole global promotion to host a show in the continent and will go to Africa for the third time, the second in South Africa. The event will be headlined by the first-ever Middleweight title bout as Chad Hanekom battles Daniel Gaucho, with the winner being crowned the first-ever BRAVE CF world champion at 185 lbs.
