From Punches Traded to Friendly Selfies, BRAVE CF 92 Face-Offs Become Night of Extremes
A night of extremes unfolded on Saturday in Bahrain as all the fighters came face-to-face one last time before their much-anticipated showdowns at BRAVE CF 92 on Sunday.
Intensity peaked during the staredowns, with Mohamed Yosif Abdulrahman and Abdallah Mohamed even getting physical ahead of their Super Lightweight clash. Bahraini superstar Abdulrahman threw a cross at the chest of his Egyptian opponent, escalating tensions. The incident has raised the stakes for their showdown on Sunday night.
While the intensity ran high between Abdulrahman and Abdallah, the face-off between Izzeddine Al Derbani and Omar Solomanov showcased a lighter side of the sport. Izzeddine lightened the mood by requesting a selfie with his Ukrainian opponent, providing a stark contrast to the earlier altercation. Derbani and Solomanov are set to lock horns in a high-stakes Featherweight bout at BRAVE CF 92.
Elsewhere, the India vs. Pakistan face-offs proved to be as intense as expected. Five India vs. Pakistan matchups are featured on the BRAVE CF 92 card, including the much-anticipated rematch between Srikant Sekhar and Rizwan Ali. Their heated staredown was preceded by a war of words, including expletives and threats at the press conference. In their first encounter at BRAVE CF 85, Rizwan secured a third-round knockout win over Srikant. This time, Srikant is looking to avenge his loss, while Rizwan aims to assert his dominance once again.
Ahead of the main event clash, Mohammad Fakhreddine and Abdel Rahmane Driai also shared an intense staredown, setting the stage for an action-packed fight night on Sunday.
BRAVE CF 92 will wrap up a historic 2024 for BRAVE Combat Federation and will also conclude the 2024 BRAVE International Combat Week.
