Former world champion Luan Santiago to take on undefeated Benoit St Denis at BRAVE CF 49

The former BRAVE CF Lightweight World Champion Luan “Miau” Santiago will take the next step into his Super Lightweight run as he’s set to take on the undefeated French star Benoit St. Denis.
With a professional record of 15 wins and only four losses, Luan Santiago is coming off his successful Super Lightweight debut, with a decision win over Gadzhimusa Gaziev.
Since then, Luan has been facing a series of canceled bouts, with three consecutive fights not coming to fruition, due to pandemic-related issues and his opponents pulling off.
His opponent, Benoit St. Denis, is undefeated in his professional career, holding a perfect record of 6 wins. The “God of War” is on a two-consecutive BRAVE CF wins, over Ivica Truš?ek and Mario Saeed, and knows that a convincing win over a former world champion is the addition he needs to his record in order to take the next step and become a potential title contender.
BRAVE CF 49 will take place on March 25, in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The event will be the third of four scheduled fight cards for Kombat Kingdom, in a series that will culminate in the historical 50th BRAVE CF card. In the main event of the evening Jose Torres and Sean Santella will meet again in a BRAVE CF Flyweight World Title Tournament quarter-final bout.
