Former Russian champion Roman Bogatov takes on Nurzan Akishev at BRAVE CF 46
Another huge fight has been added to BRAVE Combat Federation’s debut card in Russia. Roman Bogatov will look to recover from his first career loss as he makes his much-anticipated promotional debut at BRAVE CF 46, set for Sochi, on January 16th. He will take on Nurzan Akishev in a Catchweight bout of 67 kg.
Bogatov has an immense record, mounting three wins in three amateur fights before turning pro - where he won his first 10 fights in a row, before being beaten by grappler Leo Santos in his last outing.
Now looking to make a splash at BRAVE CF’s ever-growing Featherweight division, he has fixed a date for his return to competition in a Catchweight bout against Akishev.
Kazakhstan’s own ‘’Bizon’’ will be another BRAVE CF debutant, and will look to improve on his current win-streak by earning his fifth straight victory against Bogatov. Akishev is 11-1 as a professional, with eight of those wins coming via submission.
BRAVE CF 46 will take place in Sochi, in association with Krepost Selection. It will be headlined by Eldar Eldarov, who makes the first defense of his Super Lightweight world title against Leonardo Mafra. Also set for fight night are the returns of Murtaza Talha, Rustam Chsiev, and former Lightweight world champion Luan Santiago, as well as debuts for Ali Bagautinov and Konstantin Erokhin
