Following debut BRAVE CF win, Alex Lohoré lays out ambition to make history in France and Ivory Coast

Alex Lohoré was the man of the hour at BRAVE CF 83, when he announced his arrival in style by knocking out former Super Welterweight world champion Marcin Bandel in the main event of BRAVE CF’s first-ever show in the Netherlands.

Wary of Bandel’s powerful grappling game, Lohoré started off low, swinging with overhand rights, but not committing to anything. That didn’t last long, however, as Marcin started to engage, and paid a steep price for it. Alex landed a huge hook that stunned the former champ and followed up with two shots until the referee stepped in. Even though Bandel protested the stoppage, there was no turning back.

For Lohoré the victory over a former champion was just Step 1 in an ambitious plan to take over the BRAVE CF Super Welterweight division. During his post-fight interview, ‘’Da Killa King’’ laid out his plans, which include his first pro fight in both his native country France and his original home, the Ivory Coast.

And that plan also includes the 175-pound world title, currently in possession of champion Kamal Magomedov. Alex wants to face Kamal in France, win that fight, and then make history by taking BRAVE CF for the first time to Ivory Coast.

‘’That’s what I came here (to BRAVE CF) for. To fight for the title. I want to get the title. Next up, I want (to fight in) Paris for the title. And then, next year, we can go to the Ivory Coast to defend my title there’’, said a confident Lohoré, who said he was expecting to get an early finish over Bandel.

‘’It feels great to get such a huge finish in my debut. That’s what I was expecting’’.

In association with Enfusion's ECE MMA brand, BRAVE CF 83 broke two world records, as the most global MMA organization in the world extended its leadership with 32 countries hosted, while also breaking the record for hosting events in 14 European nations, something never achieved before.

Next up for the 2024 European Tour, BRAVE CF will travel to Bulgaria, with shows in Spain, France, United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, also confirmed.
