Five Top Lebanese Fighters Take Part in #1 Asia MMA Promotion BRAVE CF 48th Event
BRAVE Combat Federation is hosting the biggest Arab MMA fight card in the world on March 18, BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Night, with five fighters from Lebanon taking the spotlight at the number one MMA promotion in Asia.
Ahmed “The Shadow” Labban got himself a huge reputation in the Middle Eastern and Eastern European MMA scenes, due to his high-level striking and results, collecting wins and titles in the regional level. But his story of success traces way back to his kickboxing days. Labban is an 8-time Lebanese kickboxing champion, completely dominating the competition in his country and establishing a true dynasty in the national scene, which he expanded internationally by winning three world titles.
Since he made his way to Mixed Martial Arts, under the guidance of coach Dražen Forgac, from American Top Team Zagreb, in Croatia, Labban got a professional MMA record of 9 wins and 3 losses, with 7 KO’s and multiple regional championships. Now, he is set to make his long-awaited BRAVE Combat Federation debut and will take on Serbian striker Nemanja Kovac at BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Night as the co-main event of the evening.
Likewise, Yousif Ghrairi had a meteoric rise in the Lebanese scene, known for breeding some of the most vicious talents in the Middle East. He had two amateur fights in 2014 and, after winning both, made his professional debut in 2015. Since then, “The Widow Maker” got a professional record of 7 wins and 3 losses. He also earned himself a knockout artist reputation, with 6 KO’s, three of them in the very first round.
He has finally made it to the big leagues and will be having his BRAVE Combat Federation debut at BRAVE CF 48, on March 18, against Hassan Talal. Despite showing respect towards his opponent, Ghrairi is ready to leave his mark on the truly global promotion.
As for the Lebanese Assassin Hassan Fakhreddine, he is making his comeback to mixed martial arts at BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Night on March 18th for a chance to raise the Lebanese flag within the BRAVE arena and make his family proud.
Hassan has immense footsteps to follow being the brother of the most famous Arab fighter ever - Middleweight world champion Mohammad Fakhreddine. He will be going against Eslam Mostafa Abdel Manem from Egypt who holds a 2-0 record on a fight card dedicated to showcasing the best rising talent in the middle east.
Another massive name in the Arab MMA scene is Mohamad Ghorabi. Despite having a difficult journey in his professional mixed martial arts career, Da Killa has made a name for himself in the Arab MMA world for his exquisite talent and natural MMA abilities.
After being inactive for over three years, Ghorabi is making his way back to the cage with the biggest promotion in the Middle East and fastest-growing in the world, BRAVE CF. He will be fighting Eslam “Beast” Abdul Baset, ranked number one in Egypt for his weight class in a Middleweight Bout.
Last but certainly not least, the “Lebanese Bulldozer” Georges Eid is also making a comeback after two years of no MMA activities to show everyone that he still is one of the best from the first generation of Arab fighters. This fight at BRAVE CF 48 is the golden opportunity to earn his spot as one of the top Arab fighters with the biggest mixed martial arts in the continent.
Eid started his martial arts career with Kung Fu Sanda at the age of 17, and has earned two bronze medals at the World Championships. Prior to his venture in MMA, he was a professional breakdancer and has brought his exceptional stamina and upper body strength to his combat sports career. The Lebanese Bulldozer will be facing Finland’s Olli Santalahti in a Catchweight 77KG bout in a night dedicated to celebrating the most talented Arab fighters in the world.
BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Night marks a special occasion for fighters in the Middle East and North Africa, and particularly Lebanon with five different fighters receiving an opportunity to raise the Lebanese flag on a global platform at the largest sports media property in the Middle East. The event is dedicated to the best Arab talent to ever grace the planet. BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Night on March 18, is the second of four events in the Kombat Kingdom Returns series to celebrate BRAVE CF being the only promotion to ever visit 21 countries in its first 50 events.
