Five Former Amateur MMA Champs At BRAVE CF 55
In line with the royal vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the sport of mixed martial arts, BRAVE Combat Federation is recognized as one of the top promotions in the world today due to its roster of world-class talent.
The Bahrain-based outfit has signed more than 500 athletes from 70 different nations and has also been pivotal in the formation of local and homegrown stars such as BRAVE CF Super Lightweight World Champion Eldar Eldarov, Abdisalam “Omok” Kubanychbek and Muhammad “The Punisher” Mokaev.
Aside from building fighters from the grassroots level, it also houses the best and brightest athletes in the sport such as Ali “The King Puncher” Bagautinov, Jose “Shorty” Torres, Elias “Smile” Boudegzdame, Zach “Fun Size” Makovsky and Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine.
Moreover, the company promotes a unique business model that focuses more on the development of the sport per continent by creating an MMA ecosystem, which will empower governing bodies as well as help local leagues and their athletes gain international exposure.
Staying true to its commitment to grow the sport, BRAVE CF has partnered with IMMAF to give amateur standouts a global platform to strut their wares.
Some of the fighters who became World Champions in the amateur ranks will try to achieve their moment of glory at the pros through the organization’s upcoming event—BRAVE CF 55—set for this Saturday, November 6 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
Torres, a two-division IMMAF World Champion, is penciled to battle Bagautinov in the last semi final encounter of the BRAVE CF Flyweight World Title Tournament, which serves as the headliner of the affair.
Meanwhile, former IMMAF Middleweight World Champion Gadzhimurad Magomedov of Russia makes his pro debut against compatriot Djabrail Aidamirov.
Furthermore, ex-WMMMA World Champion Abdulmutalip Gairbekov seeks to capture his first victory under the BRAVE CF banner against Nemat Abdrashitov.
