With just hours away from BRAVE CF 88, the fighters completed their pre-fight rituals and went head-to-head in the staredowns which happened on Friday night in Slovenia.
In the main event face-off, Erko Jun and Alexander Wesner maintained mutual respect, similar to their earlier impromptu encounter during fight week. Following the face-off, Jun, accompanied by his teammate Reinier De Ridder, expressed his determination to win the Light Heavyweight title belt.
"Tomorrow, Alexander Wesner is in front of me, but whoever it is, I'm coming for the belt,” the Bosnian noted.

Wesner, on the other hand, added an intriguing dynamic by suggesting that he has yet to reach his prime, hinting that this might be Jun's last chance at the title. The German, in turn, highlighted the youth and speed advantage that he brings to the fight.
Ahead of their co-main event fight on Saturday, Pavel Dailidko and Patryk Dubiela exchanged an intense but respectful staredown. Dubiela, who accepted the fight on short notice, shared that it was an honor to face Dailidko, while Dailidko expressed his desire to fulfil his dream of becoming the BRAVE CF Heavyweight champion.

The staredown between Monika Ku?ini? and Fabiola Pidroni stood out as both fighters butted heads, showing glimpses of what the fans can expect on Saturday night. Ku?ini?, following her impressive performance at BRAVE CF 81, aims to continue her winning streak, but Pidroni presents a strong challenge.
Prior to the staredowns on Friday, all fighters made weight on their first attempt, making all the fights official for the event.
BRAVE CF 88 will be held in association with WFC and marks a milestone moment in Slovenian and European MMA, with two new champions set to be crowned at the event.
