Fakhreddine and Said Maalem resume war of words as both eye BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight crown
A new rivalry has been born in the public arena of social media. BRAVE Combat Federation Middleweight World Champion Mohammed “The Latest” Fakhreddine and Swiss-Algerian powerhouse Mohamed Said Maalem started an online beef that, it seems, can only be settled inside the cage.
Looking to make history by becoming the first-ever dual world champion in BRAVE CF history, Fakhreddine took an unusual position for a titleholder, but not less impressive or bold, and called the shots towards Said Maleem.
“Let’s go, BRAVE CF, give me a date. Mohamed Said Maalem, are you ready to be my dance partner in March?”, the Lebanese superstar asked on his official Instagram account.
The answer from Said Maalem’s side didn’t take long. “I’ll make you dance to the Algerian folklore with my big right hand right to your face”, ‘’L’ambiance’’, as he’s also known as, posted alongside a picture of his last BRAVE CF victory.
Mohammed Fakhreddine got the hold of the BRAVE Combat Federation Middleweight World Title back in November, 2020, when he knocked out Daniel Gaucho during at BRAVE CF 41, which opened the Kombat Kingdom series in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Mohamed Said Maalem holds a professional record of 11 wins and three losses. A product of Strike Academy, in Geneva, Switzerland, is currently on a six-win streak, including two huge BRAVE CF wins since he first joined the truly global MMA promotion. He is one of the favorites to fight for the vacant Light Heavyweight title and might just have to go through the Middleweight world champion to get to the 205lbs belt.
