Erko Jun can't wait to be back following KO victory at BRAVE CF 70: 'I'm hungry to “climb the ladder'

BRAVE Combat Federation’s latest edition to the Light Heavyweight stable, Erko Jun, craves the thrill of stepping into the BRAVE CF cage once again following his devastating finish over Slovenia’s Marko Drmonjic at BRAVE CF 70 / WFC 25 this past weekend. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Jun made his BRAVE CF debut in Ljubljana this past Sunday introducing himself to global MMA in spectacular fashion with a round-one technical knockout over Central Europe’s MMA veteran.

Heading into his first BRAVE CF fight, Jun was riding a two-fight win streak, amassing a total of five knockouts in five wins, and now continues to grow in leaps and bounds in his young career. With eight fights to his name, the former world champion body-builder only recently transitioned to professional MMA, with his first fight coming in 2018.

Since then, “The Bounty Hunter” has been in some epic wars, including one stand-out fixture against Poland’s veteran Heavyweight star, Mariusz Pudzianowski (17-9-0 NC 1), whom he fought in only his fourth fight. At BRAVE CF 70 / WFC 25, Jun took full advantage of his shot and is not looking back after feeling the electric energy of the BRAVE CF cage in the promotion’s 20th event in Europe.

“I want to move forward, climb the ladder, get better opponents, and build my career. I am still fresh in this game and in my career, but also have racked up some good experience,” says Jun, after stopping Drmonjic, an experienced campaigner with 22 fights.

“Every day and every year, things are getting better. I am improving as a fighter while sparring and working with high-level guys. I want to build my legacy. I want my name to be remembered and to prove everybody wrong,” says Jun, who trains with BRAVE CF Super Lightweight number-one contender Joilton Lutterbach at the renowned UFD gym in Dusseldorf.

“It excites me to show people what I am capable of, to prove them wrong. I came from a different sport, and many people doubted me,” says the former fitness model and body-building star.

“Even Marko once said he thought I was not serious about this. But look now, here I stand before you, fresh off of a victory in the main event of the most-global MMA promotion - BRAVE Combat Federation! Mark my words, I will continue on this path, and people will know my name. To BRAVE Combat Federation, you know where to contact me. I will be ready. If BRAVE CF comes back to Europe, and I think it’s going to happen soon, then I would love to be on that card,” added Jun.
