Eliezer Kubanzas fans cheer him on in Democratic Republic of the Congo after sensational win at BRAVE CF 79

Earlier this year, Eliezer Kubanza became the first fighter ever to represent the Democratic Republic of Congo in BRAVE Combat Federation. He did so with an emphatic victory over Rayan Atmani, landing an early head kick to improve his unbeaten start to life as a professional MMA fighter.
From there, many believed he’d get back in the cage before the end of the year - and he did just that at BRAVE CF 79. He faced a step up in competition when battling Adel Ibrahim, but in the very first round of the contest, he clipped his opponent and proceeded to put a nasty beating on him before the referee stepped in and stopped the bout.
It was an incredible moment for Kubanza as he continues to climb the ladder of success in BRAVE CF, but beyond that, it was another huge step in the right direction for the people of DR Congo.
In footage that has been released in the last few days, his friends, family and fans were seen cheering him on and celebrating his triumph back in his homeland. As Eliezer proudly wore the colours of his nation, the masses flocked to their television screens in the name of letting him feel their support.
Moving forward, it’s impossible to say what the future will hold for this bright talent - but there’s something to be said for the power of his supporters. They have been with him on this journey, and they will continue to stand by his side, especially with how many big fights could be on the horizon.
