Top Middleweight contender Daniel "Gaucho" Souza will go into enemy territory for next week's BRAVE CF 31. The show will take place in Durban, South Africa, on December 7th, and Daniel will take on local hero Chad Hanekom in the main event, with Middleweight gold on the line. The heavy-hitter, however, is unfazed with the home-court advantage of his foe and promises to deliver yet another highlight-reel knockout when the two meet.
Fresh off a violent KO win against Bruno Assis in his debut (watch below), "Gaucho" is keen to put on a show for the South-African fans, is aware of the dangers that "complete" Hanekom brings to the table and feels ready to "put my hands on him".
"I hope the fans in the arena and around the world will be excited about my fight. I'm always looking to put on a show and this time will be no different. I know Chad is complete and likes to work on his takedowns and ground control. I've worked a lot on defending his takedowns and maintaining the fight on the stand-up. I'm confident I can keep the fight standing, put my hands on him and bring home another world title for Brazil", says "Gaucho", who expects a KO victory to get the title.
"My expectations are always for a knockout victory and this time is no different, really. I'm going to go out there looking to get a finish, another KO and BRAVE CF fans in Brazil can get ready because I'm coming home with one more belt for us".
BRAVE CF 31 marks the third event the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world will put in the continent of Africa and the second time BRAVE Combat Federation lands in South Africa. "Gaucho" vs Hanekom will be the first-ever world title contested in the continent.
