OCAMM (Colombian MMA Federation) President Jamie Baron has praised BRAVE Combat Federation following the success of the fastest-growing organization’s much-anticipated return to Colombia which saw a ground-breaking moment for Latin American MMA taking place in Bogota.
OCAMM helped host BRAVE CF 73 at the El Coliseo Salitre, an event that took place in association with LFC (Latin Fighter Championship). With eight sensational fights on the card and a championship bout to headline the evening, it was a historic moment for the sport, with the biggest-ever Latin American event sending shockwaves through combat sports in the region.
OCAMM played their role in a big way, and in a post-fight social media post, Jaime Baron couldn’t help but voice his satisfaction at how the partnership between the two promotions has developed.
"Hello everyone, I am Jaime Baron, partner of BRAVE Combat Federation. This occasion I appreciate the support of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and thanks to Mr. Mohammed Shahid, and Mr. Mohamed Qamber. I really am very happy for the success of the co-promotion [between] BRAVE CF and LFC. We will start actions for the next event in Colombia. Thank you."
The relationship between LFC and BRAVE CF has been progressing for many years now with BRAVE CF 73 following the tremendous success of BRAVE CF 26, in 2019.
BRAVE CF 73 headlined the first-ever Pan-American edition of the BRAVE International Combat Week, which this year saw the most global MMA organization setting up shop in Serbia for the biggest combat sports festival in Europe, before landing in Latin America to make a similar impact for the region.
