Brazil’s Marciano Ferreira Wants a Piece of Mokaev After Dias Erengaipov at BRAVE CF 91
Brazil’s number one-ranked Flyweight, Marciano Ferreira, is set to make his return to BRAVE Combat Federation with big ambitions in tow. On December 13, at BRAVE CF 91, held at Khalifa Sports City, Ferreira will take on Kazakhstan’s rising star Dias Erengaipov in what promises to be a high-stakes flyweight showdown. But Ferreira’s gaze is already fixed on what he considers the biggest prize in the division: a future clash with undefeated global superstar Muhammad Mokaev.
"After I deal with Erengaipov, there’s only one name left to prove I’m the best 57kg fighter, not just in Brazil, but in the entire world and I’ll go after Muhammad Mokaev. He’s good, but I’m better, and I’ll show everyone why," said Ferreira, exuding confidence as he prepares for his first BRAVE CF fight since climbing to the top of the Brazilian flyweight rankings.
BRAVE CF 91 will also feature the highly anticipated bout between Muhammad Mokaev and Luthando Biko, a fight pivotal to the flyweight division's future. In the night’s main event, Bantamweight champion Nkosi Ndebele will defend his title against the dangerous challenger Nicholas Hwende in a clash that promises fireworks.
Ferreira’s matchup with Erengaipov won’t be an easy one. The Kazakh fighter is known for his relentless pace and well-rounded skill set, making this a crucial test for Ferreira’s aspirations.
BRAVE CF 91 takes place on December 13 at Khalifa Sports City, in Isa Town, Bahrain. The card is the first of a year-ending, double-header by BRAVE CF, with the second fight night taking place two days later, on December 15.
