BRAVE Pan-American Combat Week confirms Bahrain as the gold standard for international MMA events

The Kingdom of Bahrain’s status as a leader in sports will once again reflect when the BRAVE Pan-American Combat Week is rolled out in Bogota, Colombia, next week. Colombia will host hundreds of amateur athletes from across North, Central, and South America, all competing for honors and rankings at the IMMAF Pan-American Championships before the week-long showpiece concludes with a high-profile professional BRAVE CF 73 fight card as the largest mixed martial arts event in Colombian history plays out. Considering the magnitude of this mammoth fight festival, the Bahrain MMA Federation will once again offer its support for the BRAVE Pan-American Combat Week - governed by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation in partnership with BRAVE CF, the Colombian Association of Mixed Martial Arts (OCAMM) and the Latin Fighter Championship.

BMMAF has built a respectable reputation while acquiring a prominent role within the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation - the leading body of global mixed martial arts. Earlier this year, the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation - under the direct supervision of IMMAF - was tasked with helping organize and run the BRAVE Serbia International Combat Week that saw Belgrade, Serbia, host more than 550 international amateur athletes from 60+ nations for the annual World Championships before BRAVE CF 69 brought the curtain down on the largest combat sports event on European soil. The BRAVE Serbia International Combat Week was a resounding success, and the event had such a positive impact on the Serbian industry that the Serbian Minister of Sports officially endorsed mixed martial arts as a sport and announced the inclusion of MMA as part of the sports development initiative of Serbia.

With IMMAF again leaning on Bahrain MMA’s expertise for this groundbreaking event in South America, there can be no doubt that the Kingdom of Bahrain is now the golden standard for international MMA events.

Bahrain is - not only - a beacon of light in mixed martial arts but also in other sporting codes, as the Bahrain International Circuit was also called upon to assist Formula One in rolling out the world-famous racing brand’s first event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2021.
