BRAVE Combat Federation Signs Undefeated Slovenian Superstar Jan Berus
BRAVE Combat Federation has inked a deal with undefeated Slovenian superstar Jan Berus, making him the latest addition to the organization's stacked Super Welterweight division.
Currently holding a perfect professional MMA record of six wins and no losses, Berus has secured all his victories via finishes split between three knockouts and three submissions. Entering BRAVE Combat Federation on the back of a regional title win, Berus will have the advantage of competing in the visionary Super Welterweight division which was created for fighters who struggle to cut down to Welterweight but are too small for Middleweight.
Before turning professional, Berus competed at the IMMAF World Championships, making him the latest IMMAF alumnus following the likes of Muhammad Mokaev, Sabrina de Sousa among others to benefit from BRAVE CF’s world-class scouting program.
The signing of Berus also highlights BRAVE CF’s continued commitment to Slovenia. Over the past four years, BRAVE CF, in association with WFC, has helped elevate MMA to national sports status in the country. Slovenian stars like Monika Ku?ini?, Luka Podkrajšek, Miha Frlic, and Domen Drnovsek have gained international recognition through BRAVE Combat Federation.
Berus will look to join this list while making an impact in the Super Welterweight division, one of the organization's hottest weight classes.
Brazil’s Luiz Cado currently holds the title, with former champions Marcin Bandel and Kamal Magomedov, along with rising stars such as African superstar Eliezer Kubanza, European veteran Alex Lohoré, and Bahrain’s Zagid Gaidarov, all chasing the belt. The addition of Berus further strengthens the division and sets the stage for an exciting 2025.
