BRAVE Combat Federation reveals Bantamweight rankings, champion Nicholas Hwende reigns on top

The most global MMA organization in the world, BRAVE Combat Federation, has revealed the official Bantamweight rankings. The rankings are topped by newly crowned Bantamweight champion Nicholas Hwende, while former champion Nkosi Ndebele is ranked as the top contender.
Hwende and Ndebele faced off at BRAVE CF 91 in Bahrain in 2024 for the Bantamweight title, with Hwende capturing the belt following a dominant performance. The result has reshaped the Bantamweight division, with Ndebele vowing to reclaim the title from Hwende soon.
Elsewhere, Serbian superstar Borislav Nikolic holds the second spot in the rankings. Nikolic is on a three-fight winning streak in BRAVE CF, with victories at BRAVE CF 84, and he is set to challenge Hwende for the title on June 7 in Slovenia. Additionally, he secured a dominant submission win outside the organization, further solidifying his position.
Hamza Kooheji, who made a triumphant return to the BRAVE CF cage after a two-year hiatus, is ranked third. At BRAVE CF 91 in Bahrain, Hamza delivered one of the most dominant performances in BRAVE CF history, making it clear he aims to fight for the title.
Khurshed Nazarov, who clashed with Hwende in 2024, is ranked fourth, while Combat Sambo World Champion Velimurad Alkhasov rounds out the top five. Alkhasov, with experience in both the Flyweight and Bantamweight divisions, is set to make an impact in the division, just like Nazarov, who has unfinished business with Hwende.
