BRAVE Combat Federation, the world's most global MMA organization, is set to make a spectacular return to its birthplace with the BRAVE International Combat Week (BICW) 2024. This landmark event, celebrating its sixth edition, promises to be an exceptional fusion of sports and entertainment, marking the grand finale of BRAVE CF's record-breaking year.
Scheduled at the Khalifa Sports City Arena, BICW 2024 will establish Bahrain as the global epicenter of MMA with three exciting events: BRAVE CF 91 on December 13th, BRAVE CF 92 on December 15th, and the IMMAF Asian Youth Championships. This event will transform Bahrain into the center of global MMA, reinforcing the Kingdom's status as a destination for combat sports.
BICW 2024 is not just about fights; it is a celebration that blends MMA with entertainment. Attendees can look forward to an experience that includes a fight card showcasing top-tier international talent alongside local Bahraini heroes. The event will also feature the return of Bahrain's MMA pioneer, Hamza Kooheji, who is set to begin the biggest comeback in Arab MMA history following a two-year layoff.
Additionally, BICW 2024 will feature exclusive matchups between fighters from India and Pakistan, bringing one of sports' greatest rivalries to the MMA stage once again, as India looks to make up for their losses to rivals Pakistan back at BRAVE CF 85. The event promises performances and cultural showcases that celebrate Bahrain's heritage.
This historic event unfolds under the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, whose leadership has been instrumental in promoting and developing combat sports in Bahrain and beyond. Mohammed Shahid, BRAVE CF President, expressed his excitement about the upcoming events: "BRAVE CF 91 and 92 will conclude our 2024 season, marking our 11th and 12th events of the year. We're not just solidifying our position as the most hosted MMA organization globally; we're redefining the sport as a sportainment experience. Fans can look forward to an exciting fight card combined with performances, creating moments that go beyond the cage."
