BRAVE CF Pioneer Ahmed Amir Looks To Turn Company Loyalty Into Gold In Konin Poland
BRAVE Combat Federation has come a long way since its inception in 2016, and Lightweight world title contender Ahmed "The Butcher" Amir is a witness to the company’s rise from a startup mixed martial arts promotion to a global sports juggernaut.
Amir made his first promotional appearance at the organization's inaugural event, beating Richie "Boogeyman" Martinez of the United States in the very first round by way of technical knockout.
Since then, the Egyptian bruiser has become a BRAVE CF staple, taking part in seven more bouts from 2017 to 2020 and winning four of them in impressive fashion. He has traveled the world representing himself and his team, fighting in Bahrain, UAE, Brazil, Pakistan, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, before signing on to be one half of the main event of the company's first trip to Poland.
Now heralded as a pioneer on the Bahrain-based outfit’s active roster, "The Butcher" aims for something that he has not yet done in the company--to become a World Champion. Amir will get his golden opportunity as he is set to challenge Amin "Fierceness" Ayoub for the BRAVE CF Lightweight World Championship in the main event of BRAVE CF 54, which emanates from Konin, Poland on September 25th.
The 30-year-old native of Giza, Egypt feels the he deserves to be in the position to vie for the belt, making it known that he will leave no stone unturned on fight night.
‘’I’m not like any BRAVE CF fighter. I helped build BRAVE CF on my shoulders, and it has now developed into this amazing organization, the fastest-growing one in the world of MMA," Amir said. "I feel as one of the pillars of this great promotion. I was born a fighter here and I will become the best here. Now is the time to enjoy this moment and get this great belt, get what is my right."
