BRAVE CF Awards: viral flying kick KO among nominated in first category

Jan 02, 2024

news

BRAVE Combat Federation kicks off the new year remembering its biggest moments of 2023, as the company has announced the nominees for KO Of The Year in its yearly awards.

Levy Carriel leads the way as his viral KO of Mathieu Rakotondrazanany is the first candidate to win the first award of 2023. His flying kick went viral online with millions of views across social media.

The second candidate is five-time wushu sanda world champion Mohsen Mohammedseifi who continued his reign of terror over Lightweight contenders with a KO of Noor El Islam. Mohammedseifi, who earned another victory before the year ended, is gearing up towards a shot at world champion Abdisalam Kubanychbek.

DR Congo’s Eliezer Kubanza had one of the greatest promotional debuts of 2023, as he dismantled Rayan Atmani at BRAVE CF 72. But it was his brutal knockout of Adel Ibrahim at BRAVE CF 79 which handed him a nomination.

Finally, former champion Lucas ‘’Mineiro’’ Martins went into enemy territory at BRAVE CF 74 and went out a winner as he put Ylies Djiroun to sleep with a huge combination ending with an overhand right that landed him in the nomination list.

BRAVE CF will also be awarding best submission, breakout fighter, fight and fighter of the year in the End of Year awards. Stay tuned for further nominees.
