BRAVE CF Awards: Newly crowned champions lead race for Fighter of the Year Award

Jun, Dalildko and Hwende joined by Kubanza in contention for the coveted award
BRAVE Combat Federation has announced the nominees for the 2024 Fighter of the Year Awards, with newly crowned BRAVE CF champions leading the race. Erko Jun, Pavel Dailidko, Nicholas Hwende, and Eliezer Kubanza have been named as the nominees for the prestigious award.
Erko Jun secured two huge victories this year in BRAVE Combat Federation. He captured the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight title at BRAVE CF 88 in Slovenia by outclassing Alexander Wesner. Before this, Jun also stopped former title contender Mohamed Said Maalem at BRAVE CF 81, maintaining his undefeated streak in the organization.
Pavel Dailidko made history by becoming the first-ever BRAVE CF Heavyweight Champion at BRAVE CF 88 in Slovenia. Pavel achieved two dominant wins in 2024, stopping Valdrin Istrefi in the second round at BRAVE CF 81 and defeating Patryk Dubiela in the first round at BRAVE CF 88 to claim the title.
Newly crowned Bantamweight Champion Nicholas Hwende also made the nomination list following his dominant performance against Nkosi Ndebele at BRAVE CF 91 in Bahrain. Hwende captured the title in an impressive showing and had earlier dominated Khurshed Nazarov at BRAVE CF 82, making 2024 a memorable year for him.
The sole non-champion in the nominations is African superstar Eliezer Kubanza, who delivered two major wins this year. Kubanza began his year with a stoppage victory over Salamat Orozakunov at BRAVE CF 85 and followed it up with a hard-fought decision win against Zagid Gaidarov at BRAVE CF 91 in Bahrain, earning his place among the nominees.
