By hosting the event, Spain is all set to receive the same treatment as the likes of Bahrain, Colombia, Slovenia, and Serbia as the organisation begins to push MMA as a national sport in one of the most passionate countries for sport. Spain is renowned for its passion for sports and is no stranger to global sporting success. From football to basketball, the country’s rich sporting culture has produced world-class athletes.
Spain will also be joining the Global MMA Elite with its first-ever world title fight. Spain will be added to the exclusive list which also comprises countries like the UAE, Brazil, Bahrain, Jordan, Northern Ireland, the Philippines, England, India, South Africa, Russia, Italy, Poland, Uzbekistan, Germany, Serbia, Colombia, Mauritius, the Netherlands, and Slovenia.
BRAVE CF 89 will be a huge milestone for Spain’s MMA community, as the event could propel the sport to new heights within the country inspiring a whole new generation of talent. The exposure that comes with the BRAVE CF world title offers local fighters a global platform to showcase their talent and make a name for themselves.
Similar to what BRAVE CF has done in other nations, the organisation aims to establish MMA as a national sport in Spain and with the support of BRAVE CF, Spain could soon become a breeding ground for future MMA stars.
