BRAVE Combat Federation’s incursion into Europe featured its latest relevant chapter last Saturday, as the most global organization in the world, put on the greatest show in the continent. In association with WFC, BRAVE CF 88 broke records, turning Ljubljana into the world capital of MMA, as thousands of fans flocked into the arena to watch their heroes in action, leading them on in battle and turning the Hala Tivoli into a cauldron of MMA.
The sold-out crowd showcased the leaps and bounds with which MMA has grown over the past years, thanks to the diligent work of BRAVE CF, WFC, and the Slovenian MMA Federation, highlighting a true ecosystem for the development of the sport already in place. Following BRAVE CF 34, the first step of a new era for MMA in Slovenia, the organization continued to support the development of the sport in the country,
assisting with the maturing and progress of home-grown talent, as well as bringing more events into the country to further expand the sport on all sectors, from growing a fanbase, to giving international experience to all levels of the MMA chain, from officials, trainers, coaches, to fighters as well as operational specialists. It was this unwavering commitment with the development of the scene in Slovenia that brought MMA to the status of national sport in the country, and the unofficial coronation of mixed martial arts in Slovenia took place on a historic night in Slovenia. With each passionate scream from the sold-out, passionate and knowledgeable crowd, it was impossible not to identify just how much MMA has become an important cultural element in Slovenia and how the sky is the limit for the growth of the sport in the nation. As Slovenia continues to grow its MMA scene, it is already one of the most exciting European hotspots for mixed martial arts. The world is truly not enough for Slovenian MMA.
