BRAVE Combat Federation returns to Pakistan with BRAVE CF 85 on August 18 and the co-main event will see the biggest India vs. Pakistan showdown in MMA today as Pakistani superstat Rizwan Ali returns to mixed martial arts to face Indian MMA veteran Srikant Sekhar in a Lightweight bout.
The latest addition to the historic sports rivalry, Srikant and Rizwan's bout will be a contest between two of the top fighters in India and Pakistan, offering a display of the very best from both nations.
Rizwan Ali aims to maintain his undefeated MMA record and extend his seven-fight winning streak. His recent victory in an India vs. Pakistan Karate matchup adds extra motivation, as he looks to impress BRAVE CF matchmakers and defend his country’s honor in front of his home crowd.
Meanwhile, Srikant Sekhar, a seasoned figure in Indian MMA, aims to rebound from a recent loss and reestablish his winning ways. With an MMA career which started in 2012 and six of his seven wins by finishes, Srikant will be eager to not only revitalize his career but also proudly represent India on Pakistani soil.
With only three combined fights going the distance, the bout promises to deliver fireworks when these two fighters clash in Lahore.
BRAVE CF 85, part of the BRAVE International Combat Week, marks the organization’s return to Pakistan after six years. The event will be headlined by a Featherweight title eliminator between Rauan Bekbolat and Omar Solomanov.
