BRAVE Combat Federation returns to the African continent on May 11 and the event is set to showcase the next generation of African MMA stars that could shake up the global MMA circuit.
As the only international MMA organization to have hosted events in Africa, BRAVE CF has already made significant strides, having held three successful events—two in South Africa and one in Morocco. Now, with its upcoming debut event in Mauritius on May 11, BRAVE CF will mark its fourth African venture, further solidifying its impact on the continent's MMA scene.
Since its inception in 2016, BRAVE CF has served as a platform for fighters from 12 African nations, propelling them onto the global stage and transforming them into global stars. Notable names like Nkosi Ndebele, Eliezer Kubanza, Ahmed Amir, Said Maalem, and Ottman Azaitar highlight the success stories that have emerged from BRAVE CF's visionary approach.
And now, as part of BRAVE CF 82, the most global MMA organization is gearing up to introduce the next generation of African MMA stars to the world.
DR Congo’s Ananias Mulumba and Prince Lolia will be making their promotional debut at the event with hopes of following the footsteps of their fellow countryman Eliezer Kubanza. Kubanza’s success in the organization has been instrumental in securing spots for Mulumba and Lolia on the card and with their introduction at BRAVE CF 82, the MMA scene in DR Congo is expected to get a big boost.
Nicholas Hwende, meanwhile, is someone who has already made his mark in BRAVE Combat Federation. The Zimbabwean looks to edge closer to the BRAVE CF Bantamweight gold and increase his stock further when he returns to action in Mauritius.
Another African name that fans should watch out for on the BRAVE CF 82 card is Luthando Biko. A Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist in Judo, Biko has already established himself as a big name in the African regional MMA circuit. He has the opportunity to showcase his skills to the global audience when he steps into the BRAVE Combat Federation cage for the first time.
With these African MMA superstars poised to put on a show for MMA fans across the globe on May 11, BRAVE CF 82 is bound to go down as a milestone in African MMA.
The event happens on May 11 in Mauritius and will be the second event of the year for BRAVE Combat Federation. BRAVE CF 82 will be headlined by the Bantamweight World title fight between Nkosi Ndebele and Jose ‘Shorty’ Torres which will be the first-ever trilogy in MMA history with each fight happening in a different continent.
