BRAVE® Combat Federation returns to the Kingdom of Bahrain on 5 December 2023 hosting BRAVE CF 77 at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, Bahrain. With the exception of the Lightweight World Championship Contender, Lucas Martins, all fighters made weight. As a result, if Martins wins the fight the title will remain vacant. The event kicks off the Bahrain BRAVE International Combat Week 2023 while hosting four shows on two different continents between 5 December and 15 December.
BRAVE CF 77 features athletes from 10 nations (Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, Poland, Russia, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Ukraine, Zimbabwe, Tajikistan, and Slovenia), showcasing a mix of established superstars and rising prospects. Two titles will be defended during BRAVE 77, with the main event featuring the showdown between the champion, Abdisalam Uulu Kubanychbek from Kyrgyzstan, defending his title for the first time against Lucas Martins from Brazil for the lightweight world championship. The co-main event features the super welterweight world championship fight between the reigning champion Marcin Bandel and Kamal Magomedov.
With 70% of the fighters on impressive win streaks, the event marks the 8th time in BRAVE CF history that two or more world titles are on the line during the same event. The show also features the return of three promising superstars in their respective divisions – Maysara Mohammed (Flyweight), Vitaliy Yakimenko (Flyweight), and Abusupyan Alikhanov (Middleweight).
Out of 12 fighters added to the show, five of them have undefeated BRAVE CF records - Abdisalam Kubanychbek, Marcin Bandel, Kamal Magomedov, Maysara Mohamed, and Vitaliy Yakimenko.
