BRAVE Combat Federation returns to South America for another historic night of mixed martial arts when BRAVE CF 73 launches on August 12 in Bogota, Colombia.
BRAVE CF 73 - co-promoted by the Latin Fighter Championship - forms part of the BRAVE Pan-American Combat Week, running from August 10 to August 13 which will become the biggest combat sports event in Colombian history.
In the main event, two BRAVE CF superstars will collide when USA’s Jose “Shorty” Torres meets South Africa’s Nkosi ‘The Future’ Ndebele for the Bantamweight Championship. The co-main event will deliver an exciting Flyweight fight as Zach Makovsky and Flavio Queiroz throw down to help shape the 125-pound division and chase contender status. Further down the main card, Colombian fans are in for a special treat as hometown hero Eduardo “El Burro” Mora looks to bounce back from his recent run when he faces a legend of combat sports in Trinidad and Tobago’s Keron Bourne in an electric 135-pound fight. BRAVE Combat Federation will again showcase the talented women in the most-global MMA promotion when Venezuela’s Yasmeli Araque and Ecuador’s Eidy Macías open up the BRAVE CF 73 main card with a Strawweight fight.
The undercard will feature the region’s finest local talent as the best Colombian MMA fighters will compete under the LFC banner, taking on rivals from all of Latin America. There will be four prelims, with the highlight being the clash of two former BRAVE CF fighters: Maurício Otalora and Carlos Belloso.
In total, the fight card features athletes from nine nations - including the USA, South Africa, Colombia, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, El Salvador, Peru, and Ecuador.
