Abderrahaman Errachidy is a happy man. In a relaxed mood, he checked in the Nordic Palace Hotel and Spa, in Seef, Bahrain, ahead of BRAVE CF 71. On Monday, June 19, he will face the best amateur fighter of all time, Ramazan Gitinov, but he’s not at all fazed at the prospect of facing a big-name opponent in his global debut.
In fact, ‘’The King of Darkness’’ believes the pressure is all on Gitinov, and says he has everything to gain from taking as difficult a debut fight as possible. While both men are 1-0 as professionals, the Bahraini three-time world champion has a wealth of experience in the amateur ranks, which makes him as dangerous as ever.
However, Errachidy is coming in with a ‘’do or die’’ attitude that has served some of the biggest names in MMA who achieved famous underdog wins. And is that energy that Abderrahman is looking to channel as he heads in for BRAVE CF 71.
‘’I don’t feel pressure, and I’m not worried about his experience. I believe in myself, and I am confident I will win. He is the one with pressure, he has everything to lose, and I have everything to gain. I'm prepared to beat him, and ready to shock the world ''.
The Lightweight bout between Ramazan Gitinov vs Abderraham Errachidy closes out the preliminary portion of BRAVE CF 71, this Monday. The event is headlined by a Featherweight bout of epic proportions as Omar Solomanov and Ilyar Askhanov face off, with the winner guaranteeing a world title shot at 145 pounds.
