BRAVE CF 60: Nkosi Ndebele ready to prove that The Future is now at Bantamweight

Jul 28, 2022

news

Nkosi Ndebele aims to live up to his first name and start his reign over the BRAVE CF Bantamweight kingdom this weekend at BRAVE CF 60. In isiZulu - the South African's mother tongue - Nkosi means “King '' and Ndebele has the opportunity to step up and make his intentions known in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Saturday, July 30th when he takes on Colombia’s Eduardo Mora.

But he is also keen to put forward that his nickname, ‘’The Future’’ was given to him for a reason. And he’s ready to show that his time has come at Bantamweight.

‘’You know, this division is full of very good fighters, but I already feel like the champion. I am eager to prove it’’.

From the moment he turned professional, Ndebele has plied his trade at BRAVE Combat Federation, racking up an impressive four wins and only one loss which came in the Featherweight division back in 2019. He remains undefeated at Bantamweight and is currently riding a three-fight win streak.

Ndebele is well-known in his nation’s neck of the woods as he made a huge name for himself on the way up during his amateur days. He was one ranked the Number One African amateur athlete after winning the 2017 IMMAF (International Mixed Martial Arts Federation) African Gold Championship before earning buckets of experience at the Worlds, too. His credentials don’t stop there as he was once also a two-division amateur champion.

Now, he is ready to carry that promise over to the big stage, hunting for not only BRAVE CF Bantamweight championship glory, but also the title of the top professional Bantamweight in Africa!

Heading into the fight with Mora, Ndebele is the more experienced BRAVE CF campaigner with the Colombian only fighting once thus far and the “The Future” is eager to show that his time is now.

‘’It’s funny when some people say my nickname is king, because Nkosi is already king in my language. I am The Future, that is my nickname. And at BRAVE CF 60, I will show that The Future is now’’.
