Blockbuster Bantamweight World Title fight revealed as the headliner for BRAVE CF 91

The most global MMA organization in the world, BRAVE Combat Federation will return to Bahrain on December 13 with BRAVE CF 91 and the event will feature a blockbuster Bantamweight World Title fight as its headliner, with reigning champion Nkosi Ndebele defending his title against Zimbabwe’s Nicholas Hwende.
The fight marks Ndebele’s second title defense after successfully defending the belt against Jose Torres in the main event of BRAVE CF 82 earlier this year in Mauritius. The first fully homegrown BRAVE CF champion, Ndebele has spent his entire professional career with the organization, rising through the visionary BRAVE CF-IMMAF amateur pathway. Following his iconic trilogy against Jose Torres, Ndebele now aims to cement his dominance in the division with a win over Hwende.
Zimbabwe’s Nicholas Hwende enters the main event riding a two-fight winning streak. In the co-main event of BRAVE CF 82, Hwende delivered a dominant performance against Khurshed Nazarov, securing a unanimous decision victory. After the fight, Hwende called for an All-African title bout—a fight that will now headline BRAVE CF 91.
In the co-main event, Arab MMA legend Hamza Kooheji will face Turkish star Alperen Karabulut. Kooheji, returning from a two-year hiatus due to injury, recently made an impressive comeback with a first-round TKO win on the regional circuit. He now looks to continue his momentum on home soil in Bahrain.
Making his promotional debut in BRAVE CF, Karabulut brings a wealth of experience as a top-ranked Kickboxer, Muay Thai fighter, and veteran MMA fighter. With over 100 fights across Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Freestyle Wrestling, the Turkish superstar poses a dangerous challenge for Kooheji and will be looking to build on his recent first-round stoppage win in MMA.
BRAVE CF 91 will be held as part of the sixth edition of BRAVE International Combat Week, which also includes BRAVE CF 92 and the IMMAF Youth Asian Championships. BRAVE CF 91 will be the 11th event in BRAVE CF’s record-breaking 2024 calendar and will follow its historic debut in Austria with BRAVE CF 90.
