Bernardo Sopai To Seek MMA Stardom By Succeeding at BRAVE CF 49 Is The Way To Achieve It
How much would you be willing to give up in order to chase your dream? For BRAVE Combat Federation’s Bernardo Sopai not even leaving his country and his loved ones behind was off the table. At a young age, Bernardo left Greece, where he lived with his family, and moved to Sweden by himself to pursue a career in Mixed Martial Arts.
That was actually not the first time Bernardo moved countries, but the first, unfortunately, was not by his own choice. Born in Albania, Sopai and his family moved to Greece when he was a kid, fleeing the conflicts in the Balkans.
It was in Greece that Bernardo started his career in sports, first in football and then in martial arts. When he got into MMA, he loved it so much that he decided to do whatever it took to become a professional fighter.
In Sweden, Bernardo Sopai joined the prestigious Allstars Training Center, where he trained alongside the likes of Alexander Gustafsson, Ilir Latifi, Khamzat Chimaev, and Reza Madadi, under the guidance of head coach Andreas Michael.
At age 20, Bernardo Sopai boasts a professional record of 8 wins and only one loss. In his last appearance, “The Lion King” successfully made his BRAVE CF debut with a win over Tariq Ismail and making a statement in the international realms of mixed martial arts.
Now, Sopai will take on his biggest challenge yet, as he’s ready to take on Francesco Nuzzi at BRAVE CF 49: Super Fights, on March 25, in Kombat Kingdom. A win will get the citizen of the world one step closer to his life-long dream of MMA stardom.
BRAVE CF 49: Super Fights is bringing the biggest and brightest fighters from across the globe for an unforgettable night of mixed martial arts at Arad, Fort in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
