Amir Albazi fights Abdul Hussein for a spot at BRAVE CF Flyweight Tournament Group B

A Scandinavian clash will earn the winner a spot at the second bracket of BRAVE CF prestigious Flyweight world title tournament. Sweden’s Amir Albazi and Finland’s Abdul Hussein will clash in their home region, at BRAVE Combat Federation’s debut in Sweden, with BRAVE CF 37, scheduled for April 18 in Stockholm.

 

Whoever emerges victorious of Albazi vs Hussain will join the Group B of the BRAVE CF Flyweight Tournament, alongside other three fighters yet to be announced. The two matches of the opposite side, Group A, are already confirmed and will take place at BRAVE CF 35, in Brazil. Further down the road, the winner of Groups A and B will meet and the winner will be crowned the very first BRAVE CF Flyweight World Champion. With a professional record of 12 wins and only one loss, Amir “The Prince” Albazi, is currently ranked #2 Flyweight in the United Kingdom, where he trains out of London Shootfighters. In his last appearance, Albazi defeated Ryan Curtis with a first-round key lock submission in November, 2019.

 

Abdul “ABBA” Hussein holds a pro record of seven wins and only one loss. The Espoon Kehehait athlete is currently on a 3-win streak inside the BRAVE CF arena, with wins over Sylvester Chipfumbu, John Cris Corton, and Martin de Beer, the most recent one at BRAVE CF 31 in December, 2019.

 

BRAVE Combat Federation’s debut in Sweden is scheduled for April 18, in the capital Stockholm. The fight night will be promoted in association with the local Mixed Martial Arts powerhouse AK Fighting Championship.
